LHS Canterbury Tales characters wiki.

Your major test grade for the Medieval unit will be a class wiki that provides an in-depth examination of some of the characters in Geoffrey Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales. You will work alone or with a partner to create a page about your assigned character. Your page will be 500 – 700 words in length and will detail your character’s physical attributes (if mentioned), occupation, social standing, and personality traits. You will explain specifically what your character’s occupation is (not just the name of the job), what this occupation tells the reader about the Medieval period, and what modern-day occupation your character might have (and why). You will explain whether you think Chaucer (the character) personally approves of your character and the details that helped you come to that conclusion. You may include any additional information that you think is significant. You will include at least two relevant graphics in your article. As always, all information must be school appropriate and any copyrighted material must be properly cited in MLA format.

You will use this site to show evidence of the information you have discovered about your Canterbury Tales character.
You may find the name of your character on the menu bar to the left. When you click on the name of your character, it will take you to your page, where you can begin work. If you have any questions, you may e-mail me or post them on the discussion board (if you're having trouble with something, someone else might be too).
